This is a neighbourly horror film. It combines claustrophobic suspense with domestic action. It contains large doses of human tragedy and a lot of twisted humour.
Julia is the leading lady. She is about 40 years old and works selling apartments for a real estate agency. After finding 300 million pesetas hidden in a dead man’s apartment, she has no choice but to face the wrath of all the residents in that apartment block, a peculiar bunch led by a disreputable superintendent. Black humour leads to suspense, then to terror and then to full blown action.
