Q- Fele doesn’t look the same, physically.
A- I had him loose weight and workout for five months, until he gained a new body (better), a new physical attitude. And he was delighted, because everyone found him sexier. Apart from his image we also worked on his voice pitch, lowering it. The heart is all his, entirely, and the skin too. I believe Fele must start playing different roles now, not so teen. He’s a very versatile young actor. He can take both ends: torrid drama and restless comedy. Just like Javier Camara.
Javier is an all-road. He’s perfect for all media (film, TV, theater, cabaret) and all genres. In “Talk to Her”, even though his was a dramatic role, I realised how easy comedy is to him, so, despite the brevity, his character in “La mala educación” worked as a kind of oasis. Javier is a master of comedy, he has that special gift that goes beyond interpreting and cannot be learned. The composition he makes of “Paca” is rich, comprehensive, human, hilarious, and dangerous.

Q- Poor Gael!.
A- Not at all. Gael is going to work a lot and make lots of money.

Q- How and why did you choose him after dressing up every Spanish brat?
A- After two or three casting sessions, just like everybody else.

Q- What did you find in him?
A- He’s as attractive as a man as he is as a woman. And that was essential in order to understand the relation with the others, the intensity that drives everyone crazy about him.
