TALK TO HER CLOSES "THE NEW YORK FILM FESTIVAL"
October 9, 2002
"Talk to her", Pedro Almodóvar's newest
film since the Academy Award winning "All About
My Mother", will be the Closing Night film of 40th
New York Film Festival on October 13th.
Almodovar's world will write The End at the cinema party
of one of the most "culturalcoholic" cities
in the world, some kind of meeting between two explotions:
the spanish filmmaker and Manhattan, the magic island.
New Yorkers probably understand quite well Almodovar's
works, maybe better than in many others places in Europe
and America, because of the crazy mixture of people
that live together, and thanks to the millions of colours,
sounds, heads and hairs... that walk or run through
the avenues of this huge city/"country" itself.
"Talk to her" will open in New York on November
22, 2002, followed by a national release through Sony
Pictures Classics.
